Fight for Tyson
Stepping into the ring for
three incredible causes.
With the support of East Essex Elite ABC, Fight for Tyson brought together 28 fighters for a charity boxing night that raised more than £30,000.
The event supported three important causes, with £2,500 donated to The Chayse West Legacy and £2,500 to Anti-Loo Roll Brigade, while the remaining funds were donated to Addenbrooke’s Children’s Ward.
It was an incredible effort from everyone involved, bringing fighters, supporters and local businesses together for a night that made a real difference.
The Chayse West Legacy
1,100 miles. 14 days.
One incredible cause.
Shaun Hanney and Darren Brooks took on an extraordinary cycling challenge across Europe to raise money and awareness for The Chayse West Legacy.
Their journey took them through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Denmark before reaching Malmö in Sweden, completing the entire challenge without guides.
Over 14 days, Shaun and Darren covered 1,100 miles and raised £10,257 for The Chayse West Legacy.
The charity provides financial and emotional support to bereaved families following the loss of a child. Created following the tragic death of 18-year-old Chayse West in 2022, it provides support to families facing circumstances no parent should have to experience.
Addenbrooke’s PICU
Giving back to those who were
there when it mattered.
For Daniel and Shaun, taking on the London to Brighton bike ride was much more than a personal challenge.
They completed the ride in support of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, a cause with a very personal connection after the ward provided vital care to Tyson during his time in hospital.
The challenge was an opportunity to give something back to the people who had been there when they were needed most, while supporting the vital care provided to other children and their families.

Anti-Loo Roll Brigade
Festival
Our support for Anti-Loo Roll Brigade extends beyond the Fight for Tyson event, with SHL Group Services also supporting the organisation’s festival and the work it carries out within the local community.
East Essex Elite ABC
SHL Group Services is a long-standing supporter of East Essex Elite ABC, helping to support grassroots boxing and the opportunities the club provides for people within the local community.
